Welcome Address from the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye

Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

It is with great joy and a heart full of thanksgiving to God that I welcome you to the official website of the Sunday School Department of the Redeemed Christian Church of God here in the United Kingdom.

This platform has been prayerfully created to serve as a hub for spiritual nourishment, learning, and growth in the Word of God. It is a place where individuals, teachers, workers, and leaders alike can be equipped through sound, Bible-based teachings that reflect the undiluted truth of the gospel.

The Sunday School Department was officially inaugurated in 2009 with a clear mandate: to coordinate the consistent and faithful teaching of God’s Word across all our parishes in the UK. Its purpose is to bring structure, unity, and excellence to how we study and share the scriptures, and to ensure that the same spiritual diet is available to every member, regardless of location.

More importantly, this department was established to help us fully implement the divine mission and vision that God has given to us in the Redeemed Christian Church of God:

  1. To make heaven.
  2. To take as many people as possible with us.
  3. To have a member of RCCG in every family of all nations.
  4. To accomplish goal number 1, holiness must be our lifestyle.
  5. To accomplish goals number 2 and 3, we must plant churches within five minutes walking distance in every city and town of developing countries, and within five minutes driving distance in every city and town of developed countries.
  6. We will pursue these objectives until every nation in the world is reached for the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Sunday School Department plays a vital role in this divine assignment, by deepening our understanding of God’s Word and preparing us all for effective service in His Kingdom. It also ensures that our members are no longer reliant on outdated manuals from other regions, but are taught through relevant and timely materials that speak to the current spiritual climate here in the UK.

It is my prayer that as you connect with the teachings, resources, and ministry offered through this department, your knowledge of God’s Word will increase, your faith will be strengthened, and your journey to make heaven will be certain.

May the Lord bless you, guide you, and cause His face to shine upon you.
